Call 211 immediately. Do Not Hesitate. Since you are disabled, I can only assume that at least you are on disability and get a monthly check. Try to get a caseworker ASAP, s/he will guide you and get you more focused help. I believe that the Stewpot on Young Street in downtown Dallas has services that you need. If you do get a monthly check then you can rent a room off of craigslist or another site. This will keep you from being in the streets. You may also look into getting into a homeless shelter, there your medical needs and housing needs will be taken care of in a timely manner. Look into The Bridge Homeless Recovery Shelter, Dallas Life, Union Gospel Mission and Salvation Army to name a few shelters.
