My senior female Labrador is 17 and 6 month old her quality of life it has being deteriorating it breaks my heart to have to put her to sleep but I keep putting off what can I do. I'm so confused and feel so bad how do I know when is the time?

Mark, it is very difficult. But you now have the opportunity to help her with one of the most intimate and "humane" things possible: let her go with comfort and dignity.

Such a hard decision and I feel your pain. I made my decision when I thought she hurting more than not.You have given her a wonderful life. My suggestion would be to find a vet that can come to your house and make it as stressful and peaceful as possible. My heart goes out to you.
