Yes, the Heard may purchase original katsinas from the carver, particularly for the shop. Occasionally, the shop may take some items on consignment. The Heard does not appraise collections, but can give you the names of knowledgeable appraisers.
If you are the carver... Then yes they may. But if it is part of your collection they may be able to appraise your Kachinas.
