We got there 2 hours before closing and didn't get to see everything we wanted to. I recommend starting on the second floor with the native American boarding school exhibit.
At least 2 hours. There is a good restaurant on the grounds. A lot to see. Don't rush it.
If you really want to enjoy it then yeah a couple hours more or less
