There is no minimum weight, the maximum weight is about 110 pounds. You can use any standard US size mattress up to 11" maximum.

I ordered a XL twin Murphy Bed from them. Was shipped to LA California. Bed came complete. The bed is great. Good quality. I recommend BredaBeds Installation is advised unless you are a handyman. Frank
