No, on a public session it would not be in the interest of the safety to others. Public sessions include small children and beginning skaters. There is stick time and pick-up hockey available. Check on the calendar on their website for availability, it does change from sometimes, so calling in advance is also good.
Yes, but you also need protective gear. Minimum helmet and gloves for stick time, full gear for pickup. Public skate and freestyle no hockey is allowed.
