Is bimetal ammo allowed? I just got a mosin nagant and it is really hard to find non steel ammo. I am getting conflicting messages from what I heard in store and what I'm reading on these responses.

No. Steel bullets/projectiles are not allowed. Steel casings are allowed but nothing with any steel in the bullet. Bimetal bullets as in lead with a copper jacket is allowed. No bullet containing any amount of steel is allowed. It would cause damage to our equipment and will dangerously ricochet if it hits our steel plates or when it hits another bullet in our rubber berm.

You can find .... well you used to be able to before this crazy year ... regular copper jacketed ammo for the Mosin, bi-metal and steel core surplus ammo is not allowed.
