My husband recently informed me that he is a nudist & has been for many years...news to me!! I am very modest & being older & a bit chubby, I don't have the best "self-image". Also never been introduced to nudist. I have been raised that the only person that should see my asked body is my husband! So...April 4th is our Anniversary, I would love to book that weekend at your resort as a gift to my husband...I don't know how to "fit in to the lifestyle" any recommendations for a Newbie nudist experience that I too can enjoy??
Can you go by yourself or you have bring a partner?
Diana- my husband and I are overweight and don't present in the traditional image of what many see as "beautiful", especially with no clothes on. I love to be nude, and introduced my husband to the true beauty that loving the freedom of our own nude bodies can give. He now LOVES Laguna Del Sol and we go as often as our schedule permits. My suggestion would be to go and take the tour, start out slowly, with a robe and just nude in the required areas, which is the water. You will be surprised at just how free and relaxed it is. No one is judging you here. Good luck!!! And don't over think it.
I love it.im a black man and when I'm there I get more respect being naked than I do in public. Trust me, u will have a gr8 time there.
Valley greg - some resorts are clothing optional and only require nudity in certain areas. Ihmo once people know its your first experience they will be supportive and understanding.
An amazing place to be. I mean get nude and do your thing. I truly can't get enough of this place. Winter is fine. Indoor pools and hot tub! Actually, got a room for the weekend. Winter deal...pay for one and next day is free. Speaking on my room. It was a nice room at the indoor pool area. Big room, decent bed, microwave, small refrigerator. My back door went out to lawn and pond. If you had a bad time. Must have had the wrong attitude.
Not mandatory. Weather permitting it's the way to go... Why be there if you're not going to get the complete experience. Pool area nudity is mandatory.
Overweight, old, skinny, young, doesn't matter. Family resort, go have some fun under the sun in your birthday suit. Just remember to put in sunscreen. Clothing optional in some spots, fully buff in others.
For the most part, yes. Inside any pool area it is mandatory. If the weather is cooler clothing is more acceptable.
At one time I was very stressful and didn't know what to do. I decided to go nudity place have to collect my guts to go and get naked so went one day to Sequoians at Castro valley..at that time I was very fat but when I entered after paying for parking biggest part now was to get undress..I didn't one guy took me for tour and was cool..no one judge you or stare you..after that made few friends and was all good..then attended few events later and now I don't mind going to nudity place love it.
This resort is owned by a very nice lady who is very active in the operations. They are affiliated w AANR an international nude recreation organization. LdS follows their strict guidelines very closely. Check out their website. Great restaurant, great bar, great staff. Go have a good time.
Clothing is optional among the entire property which is quite expansive. Nudity is only a requirement within the pool areas.
