This place shouldn't be listed. One of the largest reasons Veteran suicide is so high. The people who claim they are our help can't even answer their own phones.

Well, where to start. As a Government ran building, someone should be answering the phone during business hours, instead it goes straight to voicemail saying that the office is not available, and instead to call during normal business hours. (which I was) I filed a disability claim with them and it apparently sat on a desk for two months and was never sent. This office is a joke. Strange hours, they never answer the phone, and they fail to submit paperwork in a timely manner. But what do we expect from the VA. I'm sure my congressman would love to hear about this.

Dose anyone ever answer there phone or work here? I called everyday for 2 weeks and still no answer. Cant leave a voice mail because they cant seem to clear it up and no answer by electronic email. this place is a nightmare to get anything done.
They don't answer the phones...just have to drive over and walk in...great service inside
Assuming you meet the service connected percentage requirements, the application consists of employment information for the last 5 years you worked and a list of service connected conditions that keep you from marginal or gainful employment. With that information, we can typically start the process and get the claim moving forward. There will be other application requirements but this is typically enough to get things going. If you have applied before and were denied, the denial letter is really helpful to bring in also.
You can use a form SF180 or follow this link: https://vetrecs.archives.gov/VeteranRequest/home.html
Your best bet is to go in and talk to someone there.
Unfortunately, no. You can petition your branch of service with the form DD149 or you can contact National Archives if the change is administrative.
This office can assist in ordering a COE but we don’t handle loans. I’d reach out to CalVet for that. In fact, they can do it all... COE, loans, etc...
We are closed on Labor Day and reopen on Tuesday the third.
They just need to see militarily ID
I am a fellow veteran, that is a good question?
Thanks Sandra and Bobby
