Why is the 3080ti at 1,999$ at this micro center? Isn't the msrp for the 3080 1200? Why are the selling it here for like 800 dollars more? Who authorized to have it go that high did nvidia told micro center to raise prices or they did it themselves?

That is the msrp for the founders edition and good luck finding one at msrp. Those cards that are made by 3rd parties can set their own prices. They range from $1400 and up. Supply and demand plus the stupid miners caused the prices to rise even higher. Having said that Microcenter just sells it at whatever those companies charges for it. I got an open box Aorus Master 3080ti for $1439 while the retail was I think $1499.

I found that Microcenter charges the MSRP for each specific card and those vary widely depending on a manufacturer and specs, you can get a basic 3080ti gigabyte for 1,200 when they are in stock, I saw one a month ago.

I think the problem I the miner or the gamers. Problem is with video card manufacturers. If they produce enough products everyone will be happy.
