What information do I need to get tags, If you come from another state?

When moving here from another state, you must go to county assessors office for a personal tax waiver (that you didnt owe any taxes here), then you go to county collector to get receipt. Take to tag office with ID, title, mail addressed to you at your residence (not an envelope, some bill with your name on it), insurance card, possibly a vehicle inspection report. Call the Carthage tag office, they are very helpful.

Personal property paid taxes your identity, title, insurance. Drivers license. Not sure if that is all.
