Not knowing the age of your daughter, if she is older, C.S. Lewis' book, "A Grief Observed " is an awesome book for either of you. Paperback is $9.10 at B&N. For a child under 10, "Someone I Love Died," by Christine Harder Tangvald is a nice guide through the process. It runs $9-$12.
