It seems as though most places nowadays allow service dogs for sure, I believe Lowe's is a business that also allows companion dogs as well, as long as they're well behaved obviously.
We have brought our dog to Lowe's from New York to Alabama.
I have brought my dog a few times but mainly when I am outside in garden. I have seen one or two dogs in the store and I don't think they were service dogs.
