Six flags is more for like a zoo visit and magic mountain is more thrilling rides.

To me discovery kingdom is like a zoo/ theme park. I have 7yr old and 4yr old which if I would have went to six flags uin Valencia they wouldn't be able to ride the rides. Discovery kingdom in Vallejo is more kid friendly so they got to ride all the rides except 2 but kids loved it. I actually wife and I with the kids had a blast. That my opinion but if you plan on going allot we bought season passes last year there good through the end of this year. It was well worth it. We would be paying lot more every time we go.
