After movin out of state, I had to cancel a membership. To do so, I was able to get into touch with the gym manager, who was kind enough to waive the cancellation fee (because we didn't have a PF nearby) and link me to a cancellation form.
You can send a certified letter canceling your membership it's in the contract and states that way or you can go there in person and tell them that you want to cancel although I've heard that people went there in person still had their accounts open
I've not tried to cancel but I am pretty sure you have to go to a physical location to do it. You cannot cancel online.
