Make an appt if you want a guaranteed time. Don't make one if you don't mind being turned away due to lack of open time slot. They are very good, and get booked up especially during peak times.
They prefer appointments, but can do walk ins anytime. Still better to call ahead and ask how long the wait is because it gets busy.
