You have to wait until they are sentenced and tgen they should just mail it to you. If they don't then go to the county or district clerk, which ever court he had county or district, and ask for your money. Make sure and take an ID.
I've never had to deal with a situation like that.
I am not sure to be Honest. I have understood that after all the Perceedings have taken place. That require the Defendant to be Present. And only then will it be refunded.
You have to wait for them to go to the first court appearance then you will get a check mailed to you.
