How far is it to shop for groceries? Is it safe to leave pets in your rv? Have to be cool enough. We arent set up for solar. Necessary?

Yes most groceries are in town, closes big store i think is 25 minutes away. In the winter September - March most days are nice nights can get chilly. I would recommend generator for running an AC if leave pets on a warm / hot day.
