No unfortunately I don't think so anymore.
I don't recall seeing any fire pits, and all the grills I saw were brought there by the users. The users took their grills with them. Do they have fire grills on public Park district land? Don't think so.

There were definitely no fires while I was there. Did not see any available.
There are no fire pits available I've seen people bring fire pits, bbq grills, and make fire pits in the sand - "I'm NOT saying that is aloud"- but I've seen all of those happen.
