I would head into one of the clinics and make an appointment with somebody who could properly answer your questions. Everybody I have encountered at the clinic has been wonderful.
Howard Brown is an informed consent clinic. You will meet with the provider to discuss the effects of HRT, provide your insurance information if applicable, and provide a blood sample for initial labs. As long as the pharmacy has stock and is open, you will receive a prescription and any additional supplies (injection materials, swabs, etc) the same day you go to Howard Brown for your initial appointment. It is not necessary to meet with a psychologist or therapist in order to receive a prescription unless you would like to take this step.
They're not allowed to answer this over this site. You'll need to call and make an appt for consultation. Payment is sliding scale so its affordable to all.
