Yes, they subcontracted our move the night before the loading truck arrived (after the refundable timeframe had passed). Read the fine print in your contract and it will show that they can do this. We are still awaiting the delivery of our goods, since the subcontractor who moved our goods decided to store them for an undetermined period of time in an Alabama warehouse (nowhere close to where we moved from or to). Still hopeful our belongings will be returned at some point, but we shall see.

Even though they told us they did not - that is a total fabrication. 2 days before our move we found out they subcontracted. They showed up in a Ryder Rental truck that was 1/8 full already. the truck was too small and they literally were cramming and crushing our stuff so they could close the door. Now no one will call me back or respond to email. I know our stuff is going to be trash when and if we get it back. They gave us a inventory list on carbon copy paper that we can't even read.
