I've been able to use it after it expired, as long as it was within a month of the exp date. But as David said, they are getting stricter about those types of things. Still worth a try though.

Kohls has gotten stricter about using their Kohls cash before it expires than in previous years. The best way would be to go personally to the store and explain the situation. It would then be up to their discretion.
