Hi David, The custard mix itself is gluten free. Concern arises with the addition of flavors and toppings. Oreos and brownies are not gluten free, but many toppings, such as caramel, raspberry, and lemon should be. If allergic reaction is serious we always advise avoidance because many of the flavors and toppings are processed at locations where other gluten containing items are processed, we have no control over such processes. It depends on the variety. I have two daughters with celiacs and they had the custard there with no ill effects. We told them at the counter and they were very careful in the preparation.
