In the context of the name of the restaurant probably nothing. Just being clever with the words. In vietnamese it means roof.
I'm not sure but I believe it is just a clever play on words.
"Mai" the food is delicious????
This place is so good!
It is a play on words. It's Vietnamese, so if you google search "mai vietnamese meaning" and find one that makes sense, I'd go with that. I worked here for three months and asked my Vietnamese coworker. She said something akin to "my friend". I hope that helps.
I believe it's a play on words. It's pronounced like "my" - an English exclamation of "Oh My!" Mai literally translates to roof. At least that's how I took it. :)
