Mmm... Maybe I didn't catch them on a truck day ππ or day after. After all, it is Wal-mart, one of the largest retail stores in the world. They get all that product dumped on them, short staffed from Covid and trying to help customers in between organizing even the smallest of things can drive a project out longer than expected or necessary if the distractions permit. They are phenomenal threw what I have experiencedπ
A lot of people are having a hard time with product in bulk. The prices are either waaay to high or simply just not in stock. Distribution compainies are just catching up. It's supply and demand.
COVID
No
Most likely because there are people who needed stuff? Or maybe it's because nobody wants to work? Apply to be a stocker. Problem solved.
Since it's July, my guess is they are transitioning between summer and autunn stock. I know that at the 60TH street store, they have started putting in school supplies. And sonetimes, in grocery, people get their SNAP benefits on the 10th, abd ive gone in on thev11th and 12th and the shelves are BARE. I hope this gave you food for thought (pun intended) anyway, and it's purely based on past experience.
