The medical card just entitles you to walk in the door. You will need a current prescription to let them know what dosage to administer to you and how much just like with a regular Pharmacy. You need an active script issued approximately every 70 days. They do expire so the prescription has to be renewed every 70 days in the state of Florida.
You'll need to be on the state's compassionate use registry first. Also you have to have a formal recommendation on file from a state approved doc before you can go to the dispensary.
