They do take returns. If you use a product till it's nearly gone I'm sure you'll get rejected. I bought and tried a new product and it was too much for me buzzzzzz wise. No problem, I too it back and exchanged it for a product I'm now using
Upon return of a defective product, they promptly replace the item. There has never been a problem that I am aware of of the dispensary not cooperating with a client on defective products. It does occur occasionally and they are always most helpful in exchanging the cartridge or burner or whatever the problem is on the spot.
Go back with your receipt and product that is defective and speak to them they are really good about that kind of stuff there.
