The "markers" are on the sidewalk surrounding the park and seem to be a permanent part of it. Would they do that for an infrequent event? It's driving me crazy..?!
As far as I know, there are no mile markers in the park. I don't even think there is an official walking/running path in the park. This is where the marathon finish line is every 1st Saturday in October.
That are there because the marathon ends there im not sure much more then that.
