Very interesting and educational! We even packed a lunch and ate at the picnic tables there. It was a great time.
Great place to visit. Especially for adults.
This is definitely geared towards adults. There isn't much for kids aside from the model "dig site" at the entrance and the gift shop.
This is geared towards adults. You have a nice paved hike to the building that houses the fossils and you walk on a suspended walkway.
The guides tailor the tour based on the feedback from the audience so the kids were definitely engaged. Only thing to touch is the fake dig site and demonstration tables near the entrance. Leave the kid's devices in the car because it could be weeks before an archaeologist comes round to retrieve it. Takes a bit of imagination to transform layers of bones in situ into baby mammoths in a nursery herd with big cats and camels all around.
