Go to the closest Costco in your area. DO NOT CALL. It is too easy to say NO on the phone. Go in person and ask for upper management. Then present your plea for their support of your project. Go prepared with a written letter in hand just in case it requires a letter for them to send to corporate headquarters for approval. They may give you the US mail or email address in which to send the letter yourself. It may be accomplished that very day verbally or it my require jumping through some hoops to get the monitary support that you desire. If you do attain your goal and you write a thank you letter to them they may donate each and every year. It sounds like a worthy cause. September 1st isn't far away! Good luck with your endeavors!
Best thing to do is go into the store when it is not busy, make sure you have everything ready to make a quick 1 minute presentation, and ask for the manager. Do not solicit over the phone and do not speak to just anyone. Also, if you haven't already done so, set up a GoFundMe page, which can help draw funds with less of a physical effort, but a great option in addition to what you are currently doing.
The best way is to go to non busy time in the middle of the day( Monday and Tuesdays are best) and ask to speak to a manager about fundraising for a local charity. I've worked in a Costco for many years and as long as they aren't crazy busy they will be willing to talk to you.
They do alot....just call the store in your area....each has different projects
Not sure but each store may have a different answer for you, i suggest calling and speaking to the manager.
I don't think so they are pretty frugal (el cheapo)
