I haven't fished it for a few years. It used to be good for catfish and drum. Lake isn't all that deep. Small camp ground at the entrance. They used to rent boats there, but no more. Believe there is a ranger living there also. Best to have a boat and head across the lake towards the Illinois River. Used to be good fishing when the water was rising after a lot of rain fall. Trot lines were used a lot. I've caught turtles on trot lines. Also used to be good jug fishing.
