If there is a reservation, usually the campground officials will place a note on your campsite with your name in it. You can go at any time and erect your tent. If you don't have a reservation, still you can go late night and pick an empty campsite (if it's available) and then pay them next day.
Depends on your reservation. If its reserved for the day, you should be ok.. Otherwise there might be campers there until checkout.
I was there just last week, every evening they posted a note at the check and station that said welcome late arrivals and it had a list of names with you've reserved. Late arrivals are no problem as long as you have a reservation.
If you have a reservation, you can go to your site. If you find an empty site and set up without a reservation, check in as soon as the office opens because someone else may have reserved the site you set up in overnight.
