Kichen closing 45 minutes prior to closing time is fairly normal. And qujte generous considering it is a late closing.
Actually our kitchen closes at 9pm on Sunday thru Thursday, and 10pm on Friday and Saturday. We then make 4 XL slice pies which we keep in our Pizza Warmer and once we sell out we are done for the night. I'm assuming you came in after the P-Funk show at the Dillon Amphitheater for the after party we had with The Well Beings in which we were extremely busy for, and nearly at full capacity, so we sold out of pizza slices right before we made last call at 1am. We are a bar/tavern/music venue primarily after 9pm/10pm, and just like many bar/restaurants, our kitchen closes much earlier then the bar does.
