The prices are very reasonable but this is not a yard sale - nor should you expect the store to have daily rock bottom prices just because its owned by the locals (Amish, I believe). Like any business they will have to pay to take credit cards, and need to account for that. The food stamp cards are very particular about what you can and cannot buy - it might be why the store doesn't take them. They either don't have the resources to label each item to be eligible for food stamps, or the cost and paperwork involved might be prohibitive. Just remember they are "local" and they won't be receiving big business discounts.
