I think they be fine.
My 5 year old girl isnt typically brave but she didnt mind at all. She loved it.
Like the others have said it gets dark a few times and cannons fire a few times which is loud, but the show is GREAT and i don't think it would scare your child. When we went there were several Young children at the show.

There is loud large robot type things with fire and smoke, and there's ghosts that fly around and skeletons, and the lights go out quite often for the blacklights. It can also get a little loud at times during the show.
There is a part where it gets dark and there is people dressed in skeleton suits and an even bigger makeshift skeleton resembling Davey Jones. It does get dark at times and it is loud but if you think your little one wouldn't be scared of those things then I wouldn't worry.
