It's not mandatory, but suggested to buy ahead of time. Because they usually sell out most of the shows. There is no show sometimes so you may get in but not guaranteed

If you order by phone or in person you can save a few dollars. The premium seats usually get sold out about 4 days in advance. Most seats are fine though.
We were able to book the day before, but that may not be advisable. We could only get late shoe, which was fine. I think earlier booking is best. The show is all inside of that's what you are worried about with the weather.
