If you don't like gunfire don't camp near a military base. Most gun ranges are closed at night , BLM property is one of the few places you can try out your night vision scope.
The shooting is horrible! There are spent casings littering the ground, amongst other trash. It's sad the land is so disrespected.
I recently stayed there and felt the same way. Alot of automatic shooting from something like an AR-15 around. What disturbed me was the shooting was going on after dark.
