I have a Honda Type R is it true that the stock 2.0 T engine can get about 40 more horsepower with computer adjustments If true what will te cost be and can the dealership notice that this was done to the engine

I can tell you for a fact that every car manufacturer can see the cycle flash on their ECUs regardless if you put it back to stock rom.

Email them and get a price quote. It's gonna be a little different from vehicle to vehicle. When they did the tune for my truck I spent about $600 for tuning but that was a full Dyno tune and they did 3 separate maps on it. As far as the dealership noticing they can probably do a stock map to keep the dealership from noticing. Make sure to ask them in the email. They've been pretty busy lately so it might take a little longer than usual for a reply but the wait is worth it because they do good work!
