Buffa's welcomes kids in our Back Room, which is family friendly. We often have kids there for our Jazz Brunch on Sundays or Saturdays (from January through May).
Kids are welcomed but only in the back lounge half. The front dive bar scene has poker machines as to why kids can not hang there. And yes for the jazz brunch.
I have seen kids in there for jazz brunch. They serve alcohol but so do most other restaurants. I see no reason not to take kids for brunch.
