Our front bar is 21 and over due to the presence of Video Poker machines. Our Back Room is a dining room with full service and is family friendly — all ages welcome. We have live, local music in the Back Room 7 days a week, starting at 5 or 6 on weekdays and 11AM on Saturday and Sunday.
When we have live music, families with kids of all ages will be welcome. As to whether it will be November or not is anyone's guess. Right now, the City of New Orleans requires a special permit in order to have live music. As of today, the city has not responded to our requests for special permits. At this time, we don't know what the cost of those permits are, or how long they last (one event? a weekend? a month?). Until we get these answers from the city we cannot have live indoor music. We do open the doors to our Back Room during live streams so people sitting outside can enjoy it, however.
Buffa's welcomes kids in our Back Room, which is family friendly. We often have kids there for our Jazz Brunch on Sundays or Saturdays (from January through May).
Walk to the opposite end of Bourbon street from Canal Street to Esplanade Avenue and turn left. Walk four blocks and cross the street. You'll walk right into us.
