The city rate for anything within 6 blocks is $5/passenger. Anything after that is an additional $1/block/passenger.

For two people, a 5 or 6 block ride should have costed around $10. Please keep in mind that the route isn't always straight and the French Quarter has tons of one ways, so what you might have thought was 5 or 6 blocks could be 8 or 9 blocks by following the traffic laws. Also, please be aware that New Orleans has 3 pedicab companies, so you might not have been quoted by us.

Chris, sometimes there are events where we get caught up in traffic, so it becomes a time issue at that point. Waiting in traffic with a ride can take 3 or 4x as long so theres extra cost for things like that

They quoted us a price before we even left and it was way higher. I feel like we got swindled. Not worth it.
