Tattoos can be an issue if you have any on your arms near the injection sight...or any recent tattoos or piercings. Staff will let you know at your appointment.
Some of the main factors that can prevent you from being able to donate for the day are rapid pulse rate, increased body temperature, high blood pressure and low hemoglobin. Having tattoos are not a factor in donating. There is a criteria list available on their website.
