Laurel Street Village I, off of Laurel Street, (this is where I live), doesn't have a one bedroom apartment. Laurel Street Village II, off of Saluda Street does have one bedroom apartments, but I don't know how much the rent is. Both complexes have young adults with children as well as elderly residents. They are moderately quiet, but you do have loud cars coming through, children doesn't always play in the play areas, and it's possible to have neighbors that live right next to you that will slam doors when coming and going. I think the best for you would be Laurel Street Village II where there are one bedroom (availability unknown), apartments, and the children's play area is farther away from the apartment units.
It is a quiet apartments an they go by your income
