The $350 is to register and get the card. That's the doctors fee because they don't get paid from insurance. Its an out of pocket expense. As for the $150, its the cost of the medication per month. Its expensive because insurance wont cover it. Marijuana is still illegal in Federal law, so that bans insurance companies from providing coverage.
Can I just pick up a ounce from a friend instead of getting from dispserys I got approved Friday for the card he approved all 3 types
Every dr has their own fee but the 150 mifht be the.cost of the oil or vapor from.columbia
I live in Rochester by recently received my first dose.i had one Dr tell me same thing.i saw a differential Dr and it didn't cost only my copay for Drs appointment.the card was free took 5_7days made my appointment and went to dispensary.the place I went was cash or debit only.but I soon found out I can purchase the same vap oils online and are better qualities and prices.only took 3days.
Dear Alvin, the price has gone up! Plus now the greedy know the demand is so great, they are really taking advantage of us that need this Medical Marajuna to try and improve our quality of life. The doctor who signed me up cost 300.$ but that was last year. It's probably gone up now. I'm in Staten Island N Y. Different Broughs may cost more. Colombia Care Dispensary costs me 600$ every month. I hope I have answered your question adequately. Any other questions I can help with, I will answer here. May GOD Bless you and help/heal you.
Most insurance companies here in NY will not cover medical marijuana. You will spend about $150 on your first visit. Then, depending on your dosage, it can be $115 bi-weekly. Expensive but most of the time worth it. I did not pay the $350, I did not pay to register. My dr did the paperwork at a scheduled visit, I was given a # with which I applied for the card. It came in the mail, and then I went to Columbia. I paid for the vaporizer, and since I am disabled, I get a discount each time I go pick up my oil
Actually insurance is supposed to cover the appointment if its otherwise a covered visit. i.e if your visit is normally covered and you go and end up getting the certification your insurance HAS to cover the appointment. The notice is listed on the state site for medical marijuana. Its on the first page at the top.
