I also use a CPAP so I connected a 4000 watt inverter and had two plugs wired into my RV. I also switched to 4, 6 volt batteries in Series and run my CPAP just fine and an a couple hours of DVDs if I want. I have recently added two solar panels so unless I'm using the Microwave I really need the generator. Just some ideas that might help.
