I would suggest making reservations.
keep in mind that there's no reservations per say, just call-ahead seating which will reduce your wait time if there is one. it pretty much puts you ahead of anyone who didn't call ahead
I don't think you need reservations for two. We went there at 6:30 and where seated immediately.

I would play it safe
When we went we just walked in, it was Friday memorial day weekend and only waited around 20 minutes. It was around 430 on tho so probably not a bad idea to make them just to be safe.
We always do! 6:30pm will be busy.
It's not a bad idea. They open at shortly before 5.
we went 2 weeks ago as a walk in and had to wait, but I thought it was about a normal wait at any restaurant.
Its best to have one so as to be sure you get in without waiting.
