I was not impressed in 2018, but here's a 2022 update: Finding vegan options is hard at Myrtle Beach so we appreciated that the Grumpy Monk had options. We got the impossible burger, black bean burger, pretzel, tots, and fries. The burgers were ok, not the best we've had or the worst. Adding guacamole to the black bean burger was great. Pretzel was fluffy and warm. Tots were perfectly fried and crispy. Our server was friendly, helpful, and attentive. The atmosphere was fun because there were football games. I'd recommend this spot for a crowd pleasing restaurant with good service.

The food was really delicious the service was horrible and almost nonexistent! We sat forever waiting at our table and then finally someone came and took our drink order. Our drinks were empty most of the meal. The food is really amazing if you can deal with waitstaff that simply disappear and don’t care!

Good Evening, We work directly with DHEC and have routine inspections to ensure compliance with local and state regulations. Our staff has been provided masks and tables are wiped down with a commercially approved cleaner. Guests are required to wear masks to their tables and then can be removed as instructed by state regulations. Our restaurant has ample spacing and guests can request to sit inside, outside or as far away from a fellow diner as requested. Thank you!
