It is because the service is terrible, and apparently the manager is never available. They falsely advertise having internet as well... when there is NONE what so ever.
its a okay hotel dont expect too much from them. theyll give you a b.s. answer that i know we had an issue when we stayed more where we had to fixed it ourselves.
This hotel is not great. I can't say for certain why they won't verify your reservation, but I stayed for two weeks in August 2018, and I didnt care for the location at all.
