I'm going to a show next week. The band I want to see is named first on the list with three other bands. Dose that mean that they are playing last? Also how long does a show usually last? Its starts at 6pm and four bands in total are playing. TIA!

Trivium is playing last. Show should be over by 10:30-11:30 or so.

The first band on the "bill" or advert is the "headliner" or main act, which plays last. The others are "warm up acts" which, as referenced, would be less than 1 hr, generally. Depending on breakdown and setup time for each band, and what they have going on backstage, it's a little tricky math to figure exactly when the headliner goes on at a venue. Weeknights can be different than weekends. Also, showtime of 6pm would normally mean "doors open", with the first act on at about 7.

I've been there when bands played until 1. Some bands only play for a half hour to 45 minutes, usually the first ones to play.
