Why have 2 sides at all?!
Hi. Former employee here. Since the switch from Carmike to AMC, the funding for payroll has been cut down in half. Because of that, the amount of staff we can have at one time has been reduced, causing less cashiers for both sides to be open.
AMC bought Carmike and is cutting overhead. An employee told me this.
I used to run the right side but they said left side was better production so they kicked me and my team to the curb. Feels bad.
They once were a proper theater. Both sides open and pay in the front before entering building. I went away and came back to this greedy insensible socialist way of greed and disunity.
Last I checked they haven't used that other side in over 4 or more years.
K S There is no box office up front. Hasn't been for years. It's just signs with movie times and couches now.
Out of the many times I've been I've never seen the right side nor the actual box office up front open. I really do think it's a scam to get you to join their little "Stub Club" so you can have the front position in your own line. Sad part is it's almost infuriating enough to actually join.
I wondered the same thing! It's ridiculous.
I was told that the closed sides were not up to code.
